I can't decide whether to sell it or not. Mostly, past sold pups from that line have ended back up with me, so it'd have to be sold to someone who will train the pup up and carry on the line.

His parents are still in training and will end up with excellent points!

To be honest - I feel your pain and I'm not even an established breeder yet, LOL! 

In one instance, I feel it's a shame to let such an amazing pup go to waste. He has excellent lines and great points! That's very heartbreaking to see such potentional be thrown away. On the other hand, I DO see where you're coming from, as its more a loss to sell a dog for 50mil and only have it sold for a week, just so it can be returned with no progress whatsoever. If your past pups have returned to you, I can understand the hesitation. 

Only other thing I can really suggest is that maybe you try looking for an established breeder in the Breeder's Almanac? Perhaps there is someone looking for a good-lined pup and you can be pretty sure that they will be trained, as to me, these seem to be people who are serious on quality animals. 

Just a thought, but I hope maybe it helps in some way!
