I tend to harass... I mean gently remind... people in chat. What breeds, btw? |

In all seriousness I think I'm the only one doing American Eskimo Dogs on my spare. So I know the feeling. The way I've always encouraged people to breed them is by selling backups from my lines. |

yeah, I've had to delete my last three backup pups after trying to give them away.
up sell ALL backup pups from this coming Sunday for $1mil for all. Think that'd work? |

I know I'm the only active english setter breeder on my other account and I only started them not long ago. :/ so I've got a little ways until I'm actually breeding them, but I'll definitely do backups and possibly allow exclusive access to pics of my bb as stock...idk. |

Honestly, I don't think some breeds will ever have even 3-4 committed breeders. I breed mostly rare breeds and I've added in more popular breeds to breakup the loneliness. Even with Abaco Barbs being used in a site-hosted training contest way back when, they fizzled out. As neke said, the other option is to harrass people and even then expect most people to drop them eventually. |

I think that would be worse, them getting them and dropping them. :/ |

I've never seen anyone else stick with barbs, kigers, pyrs or shih tzus for more than 2 generations at the most. Tis a sad, lonely life they lead haha |

I wanna do Pyrs, but I'm not willing to drop one of my current breeds and I'll too broke for another upgrade |

Yeah it can be a lonely life. Eskies used to have a few breeders, but everyone else quit or just stopped breeding them. Meanwhile I'm 12 generations in on my original line (thanks to 2 retirement breedings lol). |

I've bred MFT's the whole time I've been on this game and for the most part I've been the only breeder. People will pick them up for one generation and then they fizzle out. In a way I kinda like being the only breeder, but then at the same time I would love to sell backups and actually make a little profit from my horses. |

I don't know if anyone else actually does icelandics. I just picked up some grandes. Don't know if they have those either...
I'm a chronic breed switcher though. I'll be the first to admit. Link Tree |

I uh. Stuck with saddlebreds. Kinda. I've had to RESTART lines several times but I've at least stuck with that breed for... I think over a year now?
Everything else changes. Currently I have them, Nightmares, Georgian Grandes, National Show Horses, Icelandics, and Pit bulls.
Pibbies and arguably saddlebreds are the only things with a market. Link Tree |
