Surely I'm not the only one ecstatic about the release of this book yesterday?

It came out on my birthday, and I was more excited about this than my birthday. Lol.

I don't have it yet, but plan on buying it in the near future.

Anyone else?

I was super excited and will probably still read it. But I love Atticus and the fact that he's apparently a racist in the new book kind of makes me not want to ruin it.

I bought the book today. I read it, there are so many theories going around. Like this is a reality where the Mockingbird book was a fantasy.

I am afraid I am going to hate it. However, I couldn't resist getting the First Edition to go along with my To Kill a Mockingbird - First Edition.

I've never read To Kill A Mockingbird, so I don't think I'll read this one either. But I heard to woman who wrote these books didn't want this one to be published until she died. Her sister was her attorney and she apparently had that all set but when the author's sister died, they jumped on the chance and made her publish this one. Idk...seems sketchy to me.

I want it so baaaaaaaad.

I wonder why she didn't want it published before she died? That's kind of... odd. I haven't seen/read anything about that. I'll have to look into it. However, I still bought it for that first edition. I won't even read this copy, It's sealed up in a bag. On payday i plan on getting the digital version of it. 

After reading up on that, I am hesitant to read the novel at all. I wonder how much money is actually going to go to her and how much of these interviews with her are botched. :(
