I would like to request we start Kitsun foxes. so if anyone would like to breed them or help me get them added drop a line here. power to the peeps I say.

A Kitsune Fox is a fox from Japanese Mythology.

"There are two common classifications of kitsune. The zenko (善狐, literally good foxes) are benevolent, celestial foxes associated with the god Inari; they are sometimes simply called Inari foxes. On the other hand, the yako (野狐, literally field foxes, also called nogitsune) tend to be mischievous or even malicious. Local traditions add further types. For example, a ninko is an invisible fox spirit that human beings can only perceive when it posseses them. Another tradition classifies kitsune into one of thirteen types defined by which supernatural abilities the kitsune possesses. Physically, kitsune are noted for having as many as nine tails. Kitsune is Japanese for fox, it's not a special breed or anything like that. Although, I do recognize that there is a lot of folklore and such surrounding foxes in Japan. Since there are people interested, though, in Kitsunes (and their legends) specifically. I will add them to the cash shop! |
