It would be awesome if we could see which players were currently online in some way..

This has been suggested many times before and always shot down because people could use it to see when there are no mods online and cause chaos.

I agree with Tera on this - Personally, I am perfectly fine with the system we have right now because it gives the feeling that a mod is always online which deters people from trying to cause trouble; while there are a few trolls who pop in every now and again to cause an issue, it's not near as bad as it could be. Having played many SIMS before HP, I can say that that was one feature that ruined the experience for me. It is why I quit them so soon because, like she said, they take advantage of having no staff online. 

Same as above, but let me add that sometimes I like the fact I can come on and be hidden. I am an introvert both online and in real life so this feature might actually make me not get on as much... 

See, on the flip side, it would be nice to know if a mod is on or not. Sometimes i need help with something but dont know who to message and it might be gone by the time i wake up the next morning or whatever. Sometimes it would be good to know if i mod is on. Its not always negative.. 

Edit: What if you could make it to where you are hidden? like choose not to be seen on the "currently online" list. While still being able to send messages and go into chat. ? 

I see both sides (: I know a game I use to play had this, very rare a mod or admin wasn't online. But I get it.

I like the option to choose if we want to be seen or not. Or possibly, just don't include mods to the list at all?
