"Recycling" Graphics

So, we've talked about selling graphics to multiple people but what about selling old graphics that aren't used anymore?

I know a couple [graphic] designers have done this and I feel like people are okay with it. However, I've been thinking about selling some old graphics I made for my own animals (and I've retired the animals so no use for the pictures anymore), but I just feel a little weird putting them up as premades, like "come bid on my used graphics". Although, for some reason, I don't mind it when other people sell their own layouts or old images.

Does anyone not like it when a player sells his/her "once used" graphics?

I don't mind.

For example, I have a ton of lab pics, Siberian Husky, and Wolf pics that are now not in use.

Why should they sit?

If somebody wants them.....they're not in use.

If they were used by you and you're reselling them then I don't see that as an issue at all.

But, I guess it would be different if they were sold to someone else who isn't using them and is then re-sold.

I would also like to add to this by saying you can only resell what you have made!  If you are trying to resell an old graphic or layout made my someone else, for you, is not something I would say is OK!  The graphic artist sold it to you for your use, not anyone elses.  I know that's not what you are referencing now Sass, but just wanted to put that out there!

ps. Hurry up and resell some graphics!  I LOVE your work! ☺♥

I've sold stuff I'd used myself before. No one's seemed to mind. I love when people put up their old stuff because half the time I was envious of it for ages before they decided to sell it. May as well get some money out of it, ya know?

I was thinking of re-selling some uber old premades from my old dA but I didn't know what the opinions were on this.

Thanks for posting c:

I wouldn't mind buying stuff that the graphic designer themselves have made for their own animals.

I do however have a problem with designers selling images they've made for someone else. I noticed that a custom I ordered from someone had been sold on a second time, on a different game yes but still one I had ordered specifically, idea, details everything and paid quite a hefty price for. I wasn't very happy.

So yeah. Your own that you made and you yourself used - go ahead! :)
