so far I got that strict diet, easy on the treats... that adroable dust bath... and they are nocturnal xD

Get them young so that they grow up with you handling them - that way they are much more cuddly and prone to like being played with.

Make sure you'll have a vet in the area that has experience and will see them. We only have one vet in our tri-state area that does exotic animals on a regular basis. 

The vet i now take my dog too sees all sorts of animals. And the local breeder I am sure can recommend someone to me. And thanks guys! I really want one!

The only other thing I had was to go through a reputable breeder! They should be willing to be on standby with any questions or concerns you may have about your new exotic.

My ex boyfriend had a chinchilla! We weren't together long enough for me to really learn much about them besides their adorable dust baths in the bathtub and that they are super cuddly :3
