I am deeply in love with photography and I have taken courses for it for about 2 years now. I have also recently purchased a brand-new camera and I love it! Since my adult b-day is nearing quickly, I have contemplated this a lot and my parents and I have had a long discussion until we unanimously agreed.

At this time, I have decided to become a Hobbyist Equine Photographer and I will be going to Horse Shows, Farms/Equestrian Centers & Expos around my area for some photography with the animals I love. I will be starting my photography hobby this weekend (9/19/15) at the SSBC Open Hunter/Jumper Show (Champion/ Reserve Champion & Jackpot Jumper Levels). Having talked to the SSBC, they stated that the next 3 weekend events expect big turnouts and plenty of equine photography opportunities. I'm very excited to see this show, meet the breeders & get some one-on-one time with the show horses in the showing barn! 

HORSE STOCK:

I have thought of this as well and I have decided that, yes, I will be allowing certain images as stock for HP users; however, please understand that there are some images I would like to just show off for the beauty of the horse/rider bond and not have these as stock (Along with some owner's requests). Therefore, halter horses & tackless horses are a definite for stock - rider stock, however, will vary depending on the owner's regards. 

Now, I would like to make it aware that I am not a professional photographer like Mystery - Therefore, there are certain horse breeds I can not get. For me, it is whatever I can get at shows or "sessions" that I can perform at other equestrian places out of the kindness of the breeder's hearts; feel free to suggest any breeds you would like to see. I will try very hard to fulfill requests, but I can not promise the breed will be available like others on here can at this time.

It is still a start though and an exciting road at that..
