So, I'm thinking about find someone (or a couple, 10, or a billion, if there's any interest) to make a graphic studio of sorts here on HP.

Basically, you'll be able to come to this page if you want a graphic, look to see who's available and send your request into this page and request that a certain person make it.
If you don't really care who makes it, you can say so and list the price you want to pay or something like that.

Maybe there could be packages where a random member makes it and you have no idea. XD

I don't know all the fine details yet as I just now thought of it.

Anyway... so, I'm looking for someone to perhaps iron out all of the kinks and toss around some ideas.
Just reply here, or for a faster response, send this account a message :)
Thank you!

legaat - Well, I guess it more or less means levels... xD I realize that now. :P I was just excited at the time. Chaotic - I really like the idea of putting services that we're willing to do for each other. Or instead of a profit share, it could be a flat fee. Honestly, I'm not going to paint a mane/tail on something for super cheap. You know? What do you guys think about the private forurm?

I REALLY love this idea. I would be interested in being an active member/ cofounder if you would like.I'm on my phone also so it's hard to sort all my ideas and excitement, but as far as a private forum goes, it might be a little much for players to keep up with? I mean, look at toxic scribble. Everyone uses it but noone really stays active on it. How would you encourage active participation on the private forum?Also- what if, the client drops in an order and if more than one member wants to create a graphic they may, and the client gets to choose which one they like best? Then the image not chosen can be sold to make money for the group/or for that individual player. That way we have friendly competition and we get a little practice in, no harm no foul?Reno I think you should decide what everyone's graphic skill levels are worth, or maybe we could poll the community of HP and see what they think the members graphics are worth? Then it would be anonymous. ?

I think a forum, chatzy, external website or something would be beneficial for US if there's a pile of people that are in on it to communicate. Not so much for order placements or customers.I'm not really comfortable ninja'ing someone else's order. If other people want to that's fine but I'm not confident enough to be competitive.I don't exactly like being told how much my graphics are worth, either. :/ Not that I have much of a clue, but. XD

Ok! Here's what I've came up with so far.... http://horsephenomena.com/home.php?id=31062I'd like for everyone who's interested to send a riding buddy request. :) The info on the page is kind of bare at the moment as I am still trying to sort things out. :P I have made a forum for us to use, that's being sorted out as well. As for the levels, I do feel as if there should be some sort of quality control for the price ranges. As I do not want someone to overprice their graphics, putting themself into a higher level than they should be, and then go take all of the orders just because they can. That's not really fair to the people ordering. As for the forum, I'm not sure everyone is completely clear on it. My plan for that is to have a private forum that you get the link to when you join. I will have to approve the registration before you can see any of the posts. Once you're registered you will be able to look at all of the orders that are placed at the moment. For example... Let's say "bob" sends in an order and wants to spend 40 million for it. That will make it to where a certain level and higher would only be able to take it. Once they send it, I will post the order in a thread on the forum where everyone can look at the order and decide if they want to take it. Bob will get his graphic faster, and people can avoid orders that you just don't think you would be able to do. Does it make sense?

Ahh yes makes better sense.Idk what my graphics are worth per say, so I just have a set rate of 40mil per layout. I don't like making pictures for horses/dogs, so...basically if you think I'm overpriced let me know :)search `m e m o r i a. To see layout and coding examples...

I like the forum idea, reno :) There are orders I feel like I can't do, so it's great to have the opportunity to choose the orders you actually can manage. As for the levels, I think we should do some kind of poll or something. Some people do take more money than their graphics are worth, but for some, I think they do it because they don't want to be flooded with orders. High cost = only people who are truly interested in your graphics, will order. But I think it's most important to do it because of the customers. If a graphic designer find the level they are placed in, unfair, we could always do a new voting between the designers. Like, the first one is for all members of HP, and if we get complaints, we do a vote between us.

Question: Say a customer places an order that I really want to do 1-2 levels below my pay grade. I'm VERY flexible on my prices (for photomanips) and am willing to work for SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper if it's something I'm excited to do. Could I still claim the order if I message the customer and work out a price in the range they're willing to pay even if it's below my level?
