How do you go about creating one, or getting one approved?

Associations are being phased out of the game so they are no longer being accepted. As far as clubs go, Associations are being removed to hopefully build more interest back in clubs so I am not sure what they are going to do about adding more.

What Tera said, but also to clarify, you can't have your own club added. You can, however, run for president each month! 

And as a little side note, there used to be a bunch more clubs a couple-ish years ago but Sam purged some of them so I don't think she/we will be adding more in. Last time I heard, the admins are brainstorming something to (possibly) replace associations with. So if you have any ideas, here's the discussion thread: New Feature Discussion">
