So I'm getting back into HP after a long hiatis. I've just moved over a few of my old retiree's to my main as I'm thinking of doing some retirement breedings to get some of my old lines back. I'm a little perplexed though, as it seems between then and now my speciality breed has had a name change - from 'Marwaris' to 'Marwari'.

Is this going to make a difference when i eventually cross my new lines with me old ones? Am I going to end up with Marwaris x Marwari, or is the game smart enough to work out that they are the same thing?!

Any ideas would be great!

"Marwari" isthe proper name for the breed. Hopefully, though, it won't affect your lines.

Thanks kuwait - im hoping not! Would love to get a definitive answer before i shell out the $ to get the foals though!

No more marwaris.  They have been renamed to the new singular name of Marwari.  You shouldn't have any issues and breed away! ☺

Yep, I've always loved breeding them so keen to get them up and running again! 

I thought Marwari was the proper name kuwait? Is it not?

oh im sorry, I read it the wrong way. Kuwait had accidently put it and the together and my mind read it as isnt. Haha my bad!
