So i'm pretty sure I married one of the very few guys in the world that don't have 3/4 of their brains devoted to video games, so all we've ever had is the PS2 and the Wii. Wellllll the PS2 is too outdated and danny isn't impressed with the range of wii games that aren't made for kids or revolved around exercise (we have plenty of those games lol) SO the other night I bought him a PS3 from eBay. We don't really have the cash for a PS4 at the moment and there seems to be a huge range of PS3 games so I just went with that.

So, what are your favourite PS3 games? Just to get some ideas. We don't really have a favourite type of game so just hit me with whatever you've got lol!

Basically everything pippa said!  Red Dead Redemption is my favorite game to replay along with Fall Out 3.  I have yet to beat Fall Out: New Vegas but it's equally as fun!  Skyrim is so expansive that you'll play it for days/weeks/months/years and still not see the whole game.

hmmm I really don't play games much anymore, but... I did play the need for speed game till i beat it. lol. now i just use my ps3 for netflix. lol.

Thanks guys! Red Dead Redemption is actually one i've been interested in for a while but never had the platform to play it lol. I will look into that and Fallout. We have GTA4, Ashes Cricket (D's choice lol) and COD modern warfare 2 & 3 coming with the console.

What about controllers.. Do any of you have wireless controllers? Are they worth looking into? I bought a wireless sensor bar for the wii and it was entirely useless. It ran on batteries though so I would hope that a bluetooth connected controller would work much better lol. Thoughts?

Wireless all the way!  I would recommend getting a charging dock for them though.  You can plug them into the PS3 via USB to charge but that only works while the system is on.  If you get the docking station it plugs into the wall and charges all the time.  Something like this would do the job: http://amzn.com/B000S0C2UI

Also!  Don't skimp on the controllers.  Get brand name!  I bought some off brand ones and they either broke or were battery powered.  NO THANKS!
