Hey HP!
I come to you today with both good news and bad news.
The bad news is that we have lost one of our longest standing mods, Chao from the team :(. Hopefully she can re-join us as soon as her life slows down!
The good news comes two fold: We have promoted a new admin, so please give a warm welcome to Broken Vow!. This makes the current HP admin team Sam #1, Blitz #2049, Binny #18070, Tronic #907, and Broken Vow #22700. We are re-opening moderator apps! Look at the bottom of this post for requirements and the application.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone about the patchwork! You have until January 15th to submit your patches to account 29849.

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be at least 18 years of age, but also a legal adult in your place of residence (so in Nebraska where I live, it's 19 to be the age of majority). 2. Must be upgraded! 3. We have no exact time guidelines, but we do have minimum activity requirements in order to be considered active enough to be a mod, so we will be providing any serious candidates with those so they are able to see what they are potentially committing to. 4. You must be an active player of the game. There is no set "standard" for this requirement, we will judge on a case by case basis because everyone plays differently (and that's the beauty of HP!); but, you must be an active participant of the game itself.
APPLICATION FORM: Real Name, HP Name, HP ID Number: Where are you from? Timezone: Are you at least 18 AND the age of majority in your place of residence? How old are you? Will you be willing to sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement?
HP QUESTIONS: How long have you been actively playing HP? Why do you think you would be a good mod? Do you have any previous modding or management experience? How often are you on HP and for how long are you on at one time? Would you say that you are active in the HP community? Please elaborate! Briefly describe your personality. In your opinion, what does being a mod mean? How do you normally handle frustration?
SCENARIOS: On HP we have guidelines for our mods for each punishment and rule, however, sometimes mods are required to use their best judgement. So please answer these questions to be best of your ability to let us know how you would handle issues on the game.

Speaking of the patchwork, would another player be allowed to make me a patch since I'm absolutely hopeless at that kind of thing? If so, could anyone point me in the direction of someone willing to make me one? Thanks! |
