For those of you who didn't know, I was gone for 5 days on a Caribbean cruise with my two best friends.

We were on the Carnival Paradise cruise ship. We left from Tampa and had a day at sea (we tanned our winter-white bodies the entire day) before landing at Grand Cayman on the second day. At Grand Cayman we went snorkeling and went to "Stingray City" where we could touch and hold wild stingrays!! We also ate some local cuisine before heading back to the ship. Each night we ate in the formal dining room and got to know our tablemates and our waiter very well. (omg, omg, omg he was HOT.) The next day we landed in Cozumel, Mexico. We went paddleboarding and snorkeling again. We ate authentic Mexican tacos and quesadillas next to the beach and took in the calendar-worthy view. We seriously considered getting "left behind" in Mexico. It was So. Beautiful. We ate the free ice cream on the ship every day. We bascially ate all the things in order to get our money's worth. xD We enjoyed the shows the waiters put on every night for us and sometimes they would make us get up and dance the macarena and chicken dance with them. The last day at sea a storm came up in the afternoon and we were stuck in the cabin for the rest of the day except for supper and we went to a comedy show afterwards. The waves were about 8-10ft and basically the only people that weren't swaying on the ship while walking were those that were drunk hahaha. After we landed in Tampa the next day, we had basically the whole day to sightsee as our plane left at 8pm (which got delayed to 10pm, which was further delayed to 12:30am...it was a LONG DAY/NIGHT. -_-) so we went to the Florida Aquarium which was right next to the port. The red-eye flight to Tampa was terrible and the delayed flight out of Tampa was TERRIBLE (I got home at 5:30am), but the inbetween was a BLAST. I am already ready to go again next year. It is such a wonderful break from winter to just lay in the sun and burn your MN ghost white skin back to a crunchy red. ;P And take in the amazing view of the beautiful blue water. And get served by a hot cuban waiter. :P

I'm already perusing the cruises for next year!! Carnival is so worth their price! Nothing but good things to say about them.
