I've noticed that when you breed two horses together the brand that shows up on the offspring page is the brand of the parents (all mine have the same brands at the moments so I'm unsure on what happens if the parents have 2 different brands). Shouldn't it be the brand on the foal itself? 

For example I bred these two horses

And when you check the offspring page the brand says Azalie but the brand on the foal itself is my brand 6784

I had noticed that a few days ago when I was trying to see if I had any horses lined to me still in training. I was wondering about that too...

I just noticed some of my hanos are like this even though on the horse's page it's my brand. But it changes depending on which horse I view the offspring from. So if I click "Offspring" from horse #256217 it says the brand is "trig" which is correct but it's also that horse's brand. If I click "Offspring" from horse #256225 it changes the brand to "blitz" which is what his brand is.

It always shows up as the mother's brand (if I recall correctly).  It's known, and we are aware.  It's just one of those bugs that's on the list that the programmer hasn't gotten to yet. ☺
