Larger Pictures Sizes

I think we need a bigger picture size then 800 x 600 because i feel this is too small and takes away from the details of a graphic. Even if we could up it a bit to 1000 X 800 that would be great.

I support this. I put a lot of hard work into my pictures and a lot of the times so much detail is lost from resizing it. =\ |

There are two reasons for the size limit:1. So it doesn't distort that layout. With the current layout I think we could definitely go a little bigger, but not HUGE or the white box would hang over the edge of the gray which doesn't look pretty.2. So that people who have slow internet connections (like satellite internet in rural areas) can still easily load the pages. I know when I lived out in the country I had to go through the database to look at people's home pages because it would freeze up trying to load the big layouts. So I don't want that to happen on horse and dog pages for players because those are important, haha.We could see how big it could be without distorting the page and change it on a trial basis, maybe. But then if too many people complain about slow loading times I'd definitely change it back. What do you think? |
