He looks as though his markings were painted on (pardon the pun) and he's so clean, he looks like he's been scrubbed all over. Haha!

He's pretty. But Clinton Anderson sold him for like well over $100k. which is like........gross? He isn't worth that.

I don't like the Gunner horses, which is what he is. They are supposed to make good non-pro horses because they are calm and do what they are told, but that are also often times deaf because of a genetic abnoramlity Gunner has.
They all look the same. So many bald faced sorrell horses. Eventually, they get old.
Also, at the risk of offending someone...I don't like Clinton Anderson............at all.

Clinton Anderson is pricey and i cant see why anyone would want to pay $4,000 for 30 or 60 days of training....i just watch his youtube vids and get the training for free lol

and i hear he is mean....

One of those horse whisperer types. One with his own brand name attached to it.

He's a pretty good example of the Splash pattern though. Not my favorite pattern but I'm always on the hunt for good demonstrators of genetics.

Very pretty horse, but if he really sold for over 100k very over priced (imo) and I'm not a huge Clinton Anderson fan.

Fun story. Someone who was potentially going to have me help work with their horses ended up going to a clinic (without the horse in question) hosted by Clinton Anderson. Watched ONE clinic and in that ONE clinic he convinced them (not by speaking to them on their own just by what he was doing with the horses) THEY COULD DO IT ON THEIR OWN! Yay for them, I'm all for people wanting to be hands on and try to develop a relationship with their horse! It was EXACTLY what they needed to do with this guy anyways to start building some sort of bond other than "you feed me". Well they came home with his training DVDs, training book, and several training items that he sells at those clinics (all over priced btw, but people think it's worth it because he says it's what they NEED). That was at the beginning of last fall. So this week when I was riding over where my current client lives and where I work with her horse I ran into this family. I stopped to chat because I do think they're nice people if I bit "misguided" shall we say (went from 0 horses to 4 within a few months, none have any sort of riding experience under their belts and they don't know much about horse care tbh). I happened to ask how the training was going because I want them to do well. HORRIBLE. It's going HORRIBLE because a trainer (accidentally?) convinced them they could do it by watching DVDs even though they understand NOTHING about what what's actually going on just "what the horse should do because you told them". They've given up on working with this horse AGAIN but spent all that money on stuff that can't help them when they could have saved money for just some simple one-on-one ground work help from someone who can slowly walk them through things and someone who could stand beside them and help keep the situation under control when the horse charged them or did any other sort of bad behavior that they don't know what to do about. Now not only has their son (who has never taken any sort of lesson) fallen off, their daughter has fallen off, he's run away with both of them, AND he's scared the mom.

He's a GREAT horse, I actually test rode him (AFTER they purchased him) as a favor to my current client and he needs a stronger confident rider to help get him into shape and transition him to an easier life. He's a very sensitive horse and so not meant for people with no experience but they thought he was pretty. I would have never suggested they purchase him if I had known them prior to this investement.

Idk I'm not a fan of any of the training brands that give people that kind of confidence. Sure go to those clinics if you're more experienced and already understand the basics and what you're looking for but for people with such limited experience they need hands on help and to be taught the basics first, but they're not willing to try it because they failed with the first thing they tried.

I got really off track SORRY!
