Retiring animals?
Arinor ~ Main/Andalusians March 22nd, 2016 6:27:02pm 65 Posts |
So, I came here from HL, where retiring the animals in your lines is a huge no-no. However, I read somewhere that retiring animals on HP doesn't actually break the lines. So I'm curious as to how everyone here does it. Do you retire your animals once they're old enough? Or do you keep them, maybe under a different divider or on a spare account? |

i know quite a few retire when they reach 16/21 but I have played since before then so I have always just used a seperate account as a retirement. |

I always keep my lines on a separate account, old habits die hard. I still prefer lines kept like that instead of when someone retires animals too. |

I do both. I keep all my lines in case I decide to sell the current generation and whoever is buying it wants the whole lineage (or if there's some other reason I need the lines). However, if I decide I don't want to train a certain breed anymore, I will delete all of the lines (if they aren't bought) but only keep the last 2 retired male/female so if I want to restart those lines in the future again, I have that option and I don't have to start all over from store pairs. |

I have all of mine on a spare account...doesnt hurt anything to have em sit on a diff account...even tho retiring animals doesnt break lines, it still makes them incomplete to myself...just personal preference really!!! |

Mine sit on a spare. but I'm also not opposed to buying lines that are "retired/deleted" |

I don't use the retire feature either. I have an upgraded account dedicated as my own personal retirement. I like being able to go there and look back at all my animals and accomplishments. |

Mine sit on a retirement account because I like to look at my work from over the years :p (and its not crazy to have over 700 animals sit in one place right? lol) ★ Like a drum, baby, don't stop beating★ |

I prefer to keep my on a retirement account as well. Not only because I just like to hoard them, but in case I ever want to do a retirement breeding in the future. You can't do a retirement breeding on retired/deceased animals. |

Thanks for all the replies, guys. ^.^ I was kinda going back and forth, but I think I'll end up keeing them around... and won't have to feel like a hoarder doing so XD |

I keep mine on the accounts but I got tired of moving them. But I don't retire them because I like being able to do retirement breedings and being able to look at them Schatten Champion Maremma Sheepdog |

I'm one of the few people who actually retires animals it seems. I'm always so lazy about sending things to a retirement. Any noteworthy animals I don't want to retire stay in a tab on my main. Link Tree |

I love my retirement account & I'm glad I have it. When I came back I had some animals I had never bred and I retired them which deleted them from the game but because of that I've been able to do retirement breedings and start those lines over so I can make them all they can be! |
