The Nine Worlds

 thenineworlds.com In ancient times, they spoke of the Wisdom and Might of the Gods; they spoke of their power, their prowess, and their ability to make magic from their home atop Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Asgard, they called it, the land of the guards - and we, the humblest of humanity, were bound within Midgard, the "Middle Earth". But there are other worlds too; from Jotunheim, land of the Giants, to Vanaheim, home of the mighty Vanir. Together, there are nine planes - the places the mysterious forces and magical beings of our universe call home. Now, we are called upon to transcend the Bifrost and journey to Asgard, to fight evil forces and to compete for survival. We fight with the dýr, mighty beasts of the nine worlds, who come from each realm to assist us. The Nine Worlds is a questing and battling-based petsite based on the mythos of the Vikings. With accurate Norse lore, players transcend the nine worlds of the ancients, exploring the branches of the World Tree and fighting legendary creatures, battling player opponents, and leveling up their dýr - their creatures, each with special abilities - in order to ascent to the realm of the gods, Asgard, and become a legend. Awesome :). That's good! It's just been newly revamped (Mogul) so it's still getting on it's feet, haha. |
