Well?! What does everyone think? Kind of a lot of information I don't even know where to start.

I felt the same way. It didn't feel like it lasted very long because of the jumping around on story lines.. but then again we've been waitng and waiting for this so I knew I wouldn't be completely impressed unless they brought Jon Snow back right away haha! I was SO pissed when the guards found Sansa and Theon, Brienne had skipped my mind so I was pleasantly surprised when she showed up. Not really sure where the Dany thing is going, and where the heck did Drogon go he's supposed to be protecting his mama. Melisandre aging kind of freaked me out... hoping she's trying to figure out a way to save John Snow. Those are my first thoughts, basically... idk. I think I'm going to start reading the books. Not knowing things kill me.

I feel like this episode was just a "here are the story lines we will be covering this season, take note" and setting them up slowly. I hope that means a lot is going down this season.

I loved it though.

Brienne coming back was the best!! I was so glad to see her.

I was yelling at my TV "GO BRIENNE!" when she showed up! Absolutely a knight in shining armour. I almost started crying when Brienne gave her speech and Sansa accepted it. The first time those two got any kind of a break in at least a whole season. 

I was half expecting them to drag out bringing Jon back. The third episode is titled "Oathbreaker" so I'm wondering if that's when he comes back. Because if he leaves the Night Watch once ressurrected, he breaks his oath he took to be Nights Watch for life. Then again he gets out on a technicality because he died. Then again, Brienne's sword is named "Oathkeeper" so it might have something to do with her. I am going to be irritated if they drag out bringing Jon back. Not the first episode, okay, I get that, but if it takes 5 episodes I might die! 

I'm sad for Doran. I liked him, but I was always not really that interested in the entire Dorne plot. So if Dorne kind of falls off, I won't be that upset. The Sand Snakes get kind of cheesy, "Xena the Warrior Princess" lines. I don't care much for it. It doesn't seem as deep as the rest of the story lines. 

Ahh I don't even know where to start really! I like that they touched on everyone's story. Arya used to be one of my favorites, but her whole thing in Braavos is really boring to me. I hope it speeds up. Oh! I want to theorize that Melisandre will sacrifice herself to bring back Jon. That's the vibe I get. Especially after that ending.

I mean, I liked it and all, but nothing really happened. I'm already dying for next week's episode!

I agree with Overture with this episode. Definitely a big set-up for what to be on the watch for.

All I really have to add is the dealio with Mellissandre, I've seen a few people throw around the phrase "Only death can being life". So...maybe? We'll see!

The thing is they're not even going with the books anymore because G. R. R. Martin hasn't finished book 6, so I suppose he gave them a summary of what he's got so far and they're gonna do what they want with it. I also thought it ended quite quickly, which annoyed me. I need more! I do suggest reading the books though, things were changed in the show A LOT after season 1. I understand that things always get changed when a book turns into a movie or tv show, but that's why books are so much better. You get all the details as they originally were.

I'm just going to sit her and wait patient to figure out what the heck is going on xD 

I'm with trig on this one... sitting tight and waiting to figure it out. I'll third Overture on this first ep being a big set-up and challenging us.

I wish they would have focused a little more on certain story lines. I definitely agree with nytmare about arya. I love her to bits but her story is really boring right now. 

I am so excited for the wildlings to come save the day!!!!! Tormund is my boy and he is going to be SO sad when he finds out Jon died :(

Team "Let Ghost murder the crap out of the Watch" 2k16. I actually don't want Snow to come back, precisely because the fans are clamoring for it. I don't know. It feels to me like it would be the show writers throwing fan service more than anything else.

Old!Melissandre looks like my old coworker and that made me uncomfortable because I had no desire to even wonder what Peggy looked like out of uniform let alone nekkid.

As for Drogon. My roommate was like "Oh wow the dragons are actually doing somethin-- Nevermind."
