Message deletion?

I'm almost sure this has been discussed somewhere before, but I can't find it - what is the schedule for message deletion? My inbox keeps clearing itself out, and currently my earliest message is from 3/13. So is it every two weeks? I just want to make sure, because this seems relatively new.. I used to have eight pages of messages I kept for my reference, so I want to make sure I don't lose anything again (my fault for not keeping backups). Thanks! :D

I -think- it's supposed to be every 30 days, but I never keep messages that long (I sort through them immediately, having anything in my inbox just bugs me!), so I'm not positive.

I thought that I had read that somewhere.. Mine are doing it more often than that, though. I just checked my sent messages, and the earliest I have is also from 3/13. :{ I only noticed because I had four pages and had been meaning to go through them last weekend (and forgot), and yesterday I noticed it had gone down to two. I know there was a deletion at the beginning of the month because that's when I lost all this info I had been storing and I asked Sam for help. Hmm! Thanks for your reply, Adranth!

Is it just the inbox that's being deleted or the saved messages, too?

My inbox, outbox, and trash are all being deleted~ My earliest message in any of them is from 3/13.

My saved mmessages get deleted too which is kinda annoying considering they are saved for a reason lol

I just looked and one of my saved messages is gone too...

Saved messaged were accidentally deleted a few weeks ago, but they shouldn't currently be getting deleted. The rest of it is to preserve server space (messages, trash, and sent)

So it's sort-of a random schedule, as in they get deleted when the server needs space? Thanks Sam! I'll be more diligent with backups from now on, haha ;;

my saved messages were all intact less than a week ago when I checked, and the one is gone. So it would have been after that point.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread - but my saved messages are continuously being deleted now. Is this supposed to be happening (ie, do I need to wise up and copy them into a text file or something) or is it a glitch? D:

Must be a glitch. Can you message Sam about it with any details you have, like how often they're deleting? In the mean time, if there's anything that you want to be 100% sure is saved, I suggest saving it in a word document or text file or something. :/ Sorry for the inconvenience!

Same here, and some pictures I had ordered were in there and now they're retry much gone. Is this being fixed?

They are still being deleted every 15 days. Ive noted it on the mod forum for Sam.
