My game name is Shinku! I am a 18 year old girl who lives in Texas. I've been playing lots of horse sims on and off since I was a kid. For the most part, I played the old HL for a couple years before anything else, Ponybox from '08 to about '12, Howrse on and off since 07, and currently Equiverse since 2013. I'm an artist too. My deviantart is miss-shinku and my inactive HARPG account is cw-ranch.

I made an account here some time ago but never really got active for some reason. I'd really like to get into it but I really don't know where to start! Does anybody have any tips for a newbie about how things go down here? It seems a LOT like the old HL but with a modern twist and I like that. It's just been soooo long since I've played HL.

Welcome (back) to HP! I'm happy to help if you have any questions. Seems like you've got the whole horse thing down, now you can train for the entire week at one time unless you just want to train daily (everyone seems to have different opinions, but for someone like me with over 200 animals on various accounts training for the entire week is the only way I manage).

I second Zad's tip to come hang out in Basic Chat. You'll meet people, make friends, and there's usually at least one or two people around who can answer any questions that pop up while you're getting readjusted to the game! :)

Check out the Starter Park offered by HP (there should be an alert dialogue on your page since you just started a new account).
