I got a kitten! 😸

She's my first kitten that I've ever had and she doesn't have a name yet. I was thinking about "Killmouski" or "Slippers".

She's a dilute calico and very shy/fearful, so as soon as she stops hissing at me, I'll post pictures!

She's just a doll. And two cats are better than one! When they hit that age where they're getting into EVERYTHING and being a general pain, they'll wear themselves out on each other more than using you as a playground at 3 am and playing parkour off the drapes...

Also, in reply to Chao, two cats will BOTH parkour off the drapes at 3 am, and will push each other down the stairs, and in general multiply their catness, but they're worth it! I love having two cats!

Plus my older cat, Mr. Doo, was always a little angry and miserable once I moved him to an apartment, but he's SO MUCH happier now that we have Noodle, too. They get along so well and really love each other. They cuddle and everything!

They're still terrors, though. Both of them. Can't wait to see pictures of kitty #2!

I have 6 full grown cats and 2 kittens in my house right now...i love all of them! They each have their own personality...its a pain to feed them all in the morning...but they all know their spots!!! I named my gray female gris(grease)lightning...because gris is spanish for gray and she has like a white boomerang on her tummy...but i didnt wanna call her boomerang....so gris lightning is her new name! Lol

Soooo I got another kitten! It's a boy, a little older than Peach. He is very playful, adventurous and sweet. He purrs every time I touch him. I think this was a great decision (even though I wasn't sure at first) because as soon as I brought him home, Peach cane and out and it's just like she was just waiting for another kitten to show up. In the video, it's the first time she ever touches me. It's such a huge difference from when she didn't even want to be 1 foot away from me. She still doesn't want me to pet her though, but I think she'll come around. I still haven't named the new kitten yet... I took a video because they both won't hold still long enough for a picture.

And yes, this boy cat who is a little older is getting into everything! He is so curious...and he's also decided to eat my printer. I definitely need to get more cat toys.

So are cats/kittens supposed to be climbing all over everything (window screens, tables, boxes, chairs...)? I mean, I know they can and so they probably will, but my black kitten likes to sit on the windowsill and just jump/climb up the window screen. And both of them like to play more on the bookcase and my chair than their cat tree. I'm wondering if I should get them another cat tree or something?? Or is this normal? Like, no matter what I buy, they'll still prefer tearing my books out of the bookcase?

I know nothing about the kittens o.O ...except that they are adorable.

I use baby gates on my windows....it saves the screens from most cat claws and keeps them from leaning on the screens and potentially pushing them out of the window...

Also get boxes!!! Cats looooove boxes!!!! 

My cats sometimes get rambunctious and climb the wood door frames, but i try to get them like a real wood log that they can scratch their claws on.....for the most part my cats are pretty good when we are home.....

'Tis totally normal cat behavior. Cats are infamously curious terrors. xD It is no longer your home, but their home and you live in their home hahaha. ;P
