It comes out at the end of this month! Who's excited?! I am! It comes out while I'm on my honeymoon so I will for sure be buying it and reading it by the pool, haha. I know it's a screenplay which normally isn't my thing, but I don't care. Has anyone seen the actual play? |

Ahh I wish I could see the actual play. I read the book and wasn't really that thrilled with it, but I still wanna see how they pull off all the sets and magic on stage! I spent a lot of time as a stage actress and I always love to see the creative ways they put together costuming and sets and effects and such. Plus I saw an article that was praising the uniqueness of the sets for Cursed Child. And I really want to see how these actors bring all my old favorite characters to life! |

I felt like I was reading a poorly written fanfiction the entire time I was reading it and was extremely disapointed in it :( ★ Like a drum, baby, don't stop beating★ |

same, tera. I find some comfort in the fact that J.K. wrote it with two other people. No spoilers, but as a script, it definitely lost a lot of J.K.'s charm and wit. It's a shame it won't be written as it's own novel to fill in all the gaps between the dialogue. Still worth a read though, as everything that happens in Cursed Child is now an official part of the HP timeline. |
