Does anyone here have one?

I do buy a lot of books from them, but I'd probably just barely break even on saving money with the 10% off of most purchases. So it doesn't seem like it'd be worth it. However, I'd probably save a lot on shipping with the free shipping so that may make it worth it.

Thoughts?

I like being able to go to a physical store most of the time! Plus I kind of detest Amazon as a company, but that's a rant for another time :P.

I do not have the membership. I have a nook and buy a lot of books, but I never really saw myself as being able to use the membership. It does have free shipping which is nice, but it sounds like you don't really use much of that. Also with all the whispers about B&N closing soon I worry about it all the time.

I have a membership, and I would recommend it. I buy a lot of books both in-store and online, though I see the most savings online because members get free premium shipping on top of the discounts B&N offers all customers for online purchases. The savings in-store is nice too, especially when I walk in intending to buy one back and shuffle out with five or six lol. The annual fee isn't much of a bother to me, it pays itself off with all the savings through the year... But that's because I'm a walking threat to bookstore inventories haha.

I haven't heard rumors of them closing until now tho D: I hope they're just rumors, I don't know what'll happen if I don't have my booksellers..
