you've broken something?

Today I smashed my S7 edge after dropping it off my lap on the bus, yet have dropped it before on harder surfaces and it survived :(

I tossed my glasses on the floor when I was in the tub and needed to wash my face. When I got out I thought they were further away than they were and CRUNCH, stepped on them. Broke them right on the nose and because of where on the nose it broke they can't even be taped together. I've been without glasses since May and I'm running out of contacts. :'(

Oh god I am a pro at this.

I used to keep my laptop next to my bed. I stepped on it. This happened with two laptops because apparently I didn't learn the first time. Then I did it with my kindle.

Both a phone and an iPod fell in the toilet from my back pocket.

So many headphones through the wash...

I have broken a minimum of 3 scrubby brush things for doing the dishes by dropping them on the floor. Again. Because I don't learn.

When I first got my nose pierced, I was told to NOT TOUCH THE PIERCING. What did I do? Play with the jewelry. Until it fell out. And then I couldn't get it back in. I eventually shoved an earring in there and had to buy replacement jewelry that CAN'T fall out.

I'm sure there's more.

I put every phone in a case... because you know, you should. Anywho, this case has a front edge, so if it falls on the screen, the screen doesnt touch the ground. Sure enough, the first time it ever fell, was on the front, and didnt break externally, but internally so it didnt recognize the touch..

that was fun..

I dropped my phone in the toilet while on vacation out east, but it amazingly worked still, praise the phone gods. I've never moved faster in my life whisking that thing out of the toilet. Thankfully the toilet bowl hardly had any water in it to begin with so it had only partly submerged for a good half a second. x.X

I dropped a phone in turtle water...it still worked for awhile...then started making a crackling noise..

I also dropped my asus in the washer and it drowned...it was one of those tablet phones where you stick it in the back of a tablet....so without the phone the tablet didnt work....

I think those are the only ones i "broke"

I had a side plate break because a plastic protein shake bottle fell on it  --________--

And don't you just hate when a glass falls and makes a few bounces before it finally breaks, AND YOU'RE TOO CLUMSY TO CATCH IT AT ANY POINT BEFORE BREAKING??? -seething with rage from the memory-

im great with phones amazingly and thats with 2 kids

all our apple products live in otterboxes or knock off otterboxes (including the ipad)

my 4s still looks brand new out of the box

and probably bad parenting so judge away i dont care

but the kid has had an iphone 5 (one of the misters old one) since he was 3 and that thing still looks brand new and he turns 6 tomorrow

on the other had the mr was stupid and let the kid use his iphone 6plus and the kid dropped it in the toliet.

it was impossible to be mad at him. he was so mad at himself and was upset for a week. that phone is now being a brat a year later and ill be filing an insurance claim on it soon

E has a iphone 5 thats in a otterbox preserver (waterproof because you know kids put everything in their mouth)

it has all of the misters old music on it so she dances and plays with siri mainly before chunking it across the room.

I am being brave atm and just have a caseology case on my phone for now a tempered glass screen protector.

im very protective of our apple products.

Umm, I left my laptop in the car for 12 hours during a heat advisory and high humidity, so it got condensation under the track pad and I ended up having to replace the entire thing!

I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of any more right now.

EDIT: Oh! Recently, I opened my bottom dresser drawer, which was already on it's last leg, and ripped the entire front part of the drawer off. So now I need a new dresser, because I actually broke off the pegs and snapped part of the wood, so there's no way to even kind of try and fix it.

EDIT 2: I don't know if this counts, but once I typed something wrong and didn't double check before submitting and accidentally wiped everyone's upgrades off of their accounts on HP. It took all of the admins like 3 days to fix.

I dropped my own phone many times and it never shattered... but it fell out the car when I opened the door and it looked like I dropped it out of a 100 story building haha

When I was younger my grandma kept Welch's jelly jars as drinking glasses and she had one with a tiger on it. I always made sure I had that cup when I visited and one day she finally gave it to me. I walked home with it and promptly dropped it on the hard tile floor in the breezeway and it shattered into a MILLION pieces. I was devastated and I never told my grandma what happened. It honestly makes me sick to this day to think about it lol!

They're on Ebay but I still don't have the nerve to buy one haha

In my high school days I used to get home first, so I had the keys to get in. However sometimes i'd forget them. I KNEW I would get in trouble with Dad... so one day I went searching for house keys outside (just in case my parents actually DID do this... apparently not though haha). Anyway I went to look in the shed, which has a wooden door. I accidentally forced it in the WRONG way and broke it off 2 out of 4 hinges by pushing it inwards with my wheelchair. In my defense when I opened the door, it went forward a little, not back as one would expect. So I pushed it further in thinking something must've been stuck behind it. Nope... it was just the hinges preventing it going further lol!
