I was wondering if anyone keeps one of these. I'm tempted to start one (thanks, Pinterest and your pretty posts...) and though I've found quite a bit of info and inspiration, I want some feedback or tips or just general discussion :) |

I started off with a Bullet Journal. But I did not have enough time each week to really set asside for establishing the weekly tables. I bought instead a Moleskin Diary. That is a week per page. BUT the opposite page is lined. This is literally what I was drawing into my bullet Journal but it took me about months to work out what worked for me. I also have my bullet journal and I use that for lists and other things that aren't like to-do lists. |

Maha, I'm not even sure I'd keep it up either, but lately I wanna try all sorts of things. I'm in a very creative phase :D Zad, do you feel like keeping one has been helpful in some way or another? |

It's a new concept for me, too, but it seems like a way to allow myself to buy a pretty new journal AND have a use for it xD |

I might try to look up the thread where Sam shows how she made hers. I remember really liking it, but I'm not sure if I'm creative enough to make it look all neat. XD I like buying journals / planners. I still haven't found a brand I completely /love/ yet. |

I just found it and she has a few pics and a link to a Buzzfeed article. I've found plenty of inspiration and guidelines on Pinterest, so once I find a good journal, I'm gonna sit down and plan the design(s) :) |

I find it reeally help ful Tana. Especially when I remeber it exisits. HAHAH (ive just gont a couple of weeks without it) What i try to do is that every day when I get to work I get it out and have it open on my desk. It helps keep all my to-do lists (home, Work and HP) in the one spot. THe other Journal is usually on my home study desk. This is where I right lists and things that I need for reference. So What days to make shows. or new years resolutions. OR new study options. Remind me on FP one day and Ill send you pictures :) |

I didn't really know about them either until they popped up on my Pinterest feed and I feel like I can organize my life a little more and remember things better, while also being creative. It's like having a daily planner plus a bunch of lists and basically whatever you want in one place, and if you get a journal with blank pages, or those dotted ones, you can really make it your own. I'm curious to try it and see if I stick to it or not. |

Yup! Like others said above I have one! I've stopped doing the monthly calendar drawn out because I wasn't using it and now I just do a weekly spread, but I find it helps me A LOT. So, like this is this weeks so far:
Sorry about my weird schedule, haha. I had to cross some things out because, you know, internet and public forum, but I left most of it, haha.
And sometimes I do art in the headers:
Then I use the blank space below Sat/Sun to take notes or keep lists, etc. that I need. In the past I have also tried to do habit trackers, but I never even keep up on them, haha. In the beginning I did do some artsy stuff with it, but these days it's pretty basic, but it still works! If I have time I'll doodle, but otherwise I just make it look nice and clean, and it takes me maybe 5 minutes to set up my weekly layout because I just copy from the previous pages what I did there. |

And for whatever it's worth, once you do the first week/month/whatever it gets way easier to do! I can see my previous lines each week, so I just use a ruler and trace over those. And I use a dotted Moleskine. |
