Yay! :). I'm really bad at setting a weight loss goal and sticking to it, so my resolution for this year is to weigh less than what I started at, even if it's only by 1 lb. And so far, I don't think I've lost any, but I haven't weighed myself recently. So I don't have anything useful to add :P. But congrats! :). 25 lbs is a big accomplishment! |

Congrats! I lost 22lbs throughout 2016, and I plan to lose about that much this year! What really helped me was getting used to smaller portions. I used to eat massive portions and even though it was healthy food and I was working out in some way, I was gaining weight because I consumed way more calories than I burned. I moved to Finland in January 2016 to be with my now-husband and I would do most of the cooking, and then I'd let him put food on my plate. It took a few weeks to get used to it, but now it's very hard for me to eat like I used to. I keep those massive meals for an occasional treat :D The next biggest thing is obviously working out. I go to the gym 3 or 4 times per week for about an hour each time and I lift weights and do some kind of cardio, whatever I feel like. I have my muscles split into 3 groups, so each group gets its own day with about 15-20 minutes of cardio at the end. The 4th day is usually just cardio lately. I love pushing the sled back and forth, I feel like a beast lol. Flipping the tire is fun, too. On the non-gym days, I try to eat a little less and to move in slower ways, like taking walks to catch Pokemon. We also live close to a few supermarkets and to our gym, so we walk to those places also. The little things really add up! |

Wow! Way to go! Im not actively trying to lose weight, mainly becasue i dont excercise - I have cholinergic urticaria - therefore as a sweat I break out in hive/heat rashes. So I avoid that lmao. BUT, i have recently started slowing down on snacking. Its my guilty pleasure. ESP cookies and chips. So far ive lost 16lbs since Ethan was born in June. So its a start haha. I do plan on getting back down to what I weighed before I had Dylan, but thatll take a lot of hard work that im not motivated to do yet haha. |

The last month or so I have really been trying to get healthier. The goal is to lose weight but I'm more focusing of the 'being health' side this time than just losing pounds and it's really helped. Yesterday I went out to eat with my friends and hit a set back, gaining today for the first time, because I couldn't help my cravings for fried food lol! But I've been taking a lot of Advocare supplements, using fitbit, and my fitness pal. When I get my tax return I will be trying out, and then maybe selling Juice Plus. The results I've seen pictures of from Juice Plus are amazing. |

It is by far the hardest thing I have done, I completly cold turkey stopped drinking pop I mean 3 cans a day to zero! I only drink flavored waters now, or some juice and milk. I do allow myself 1 a week (1 meal) of what I consider "cheat". Tonight was it as it was my dads birthday. but I always go right back to it. Living in michigan and this time of year I cant walk outside like I would like but I try to walk alot. I plan on joining a gym just trying to find one in my area. |

I weighed myself end of Jan. after having been dieting for 3 weeks, only serious the last 2 of those and I had lost 4lbs! I won't weigh again until end of February because I find weekly weighing tends to bring me down on the weeks I don't lose or I gain.
Having said that I have been sick this entire week. Kind if threw the diet out the window but doesn't matter because I haven't eaten enough all week to amount to a decent meal for anyone. I have been drinking a lot of water since Wednesday in part due to the medicine I think but not complaining about it lol
Goal is to lose around 100lbs. It's an overall goal so no deadline but within the year would be great. I hit an all time high weight of 310 lbs in Jan and I lost my mind at the thought so decided a major lifestyle change was needed. I also haven't had a soda since I started and I've drastically cut back on my tea as well.
I joined the gym this past Monday but as luck would have it I got sick Monday night work and haven't been yet. |

I lost about 20 pounds 2 summers ago and have slowly gained about 10-12 of it back, no thanks to returning to college and being more sedentary as well as needing snacks for brain functioning X_x This spring I am going to try to be a little more active though I still have school going through the summer and I need to watch portion control as well - in the winter when it's freezing cold I tend to eat waaaaaay more than is necessary. -_- That being said, when I was losing weight, it was by power walking a minimun of 2 miles a day along with some situps and watching very carefully what I ate. NO SECOND HELPINGS!! |
