Hello HP! :D

Thought this might be a good way to wrestle back into the community here! As the title mentions, I've actually been on HorsePhenomena a long time (since 2012, and had been on Horseland before that) but took a long hiatus after some real life changes that same year. I just recently logged back in on Monday (02/13) and am eager to get started. I've decided on Friesians for my breed specialty and have been working on racking up the points on a store bought stallion, Fiachra, the past two days. I would love to get connected with other Friesian breeders on here, as well as any breeders/trainers willing to lend their sound advice :) I apologize in the meantime if anything I do or say warrants an eyeroll - I'm definitely relearning the game.

As far as myself, you can just call me Fluyt (pronounced "flute"). I'm a 22-year-old American female living in Washington state (not DC) and attending school for interior design. I currently have two kitties, a 6mo domestic medium hair named Thadea and a 1 year old Persian named Bebe. Both girls :) I worked as an assistant horse trainer at a farm that bred Friesians and New Forest Ponies for dressage all throughout my teenage years, which was a hell of a lot cooler than my current job; cashiering at a bagel shop. I love coffee, art, the ocean, traveling, politics (but I swear I won't bring it up unless you directly ask! ;) and binge watching various shows on Netflix and HBO. I'm generally super easy to get along with, so don't be reluctant to say hi :)

Oh yes, cats are the best.

The link below is Thadea. She's a six month old Domestic Medium Hair and doing so much better than when I got her at 10 weeks! She was rescued from a neglectful owner and came to me with a severe upper respiratory infection... but two trips to the emergency care clinic, $800 and 4 months later, she's all better. Super mischevious and playful until she's tired, and then she's all cuddles. And the link below that one is Bebe who is a Persian - I actually got her for my mom on her birthday last year but she's staying with me for now while my mom sorts out her housing situation after a job switch. She's just a princess, and she loves anything sweet... ice cream, frosting, whipped cream, a little wine on the finger tip... even blueberry bagel crumbs. They're characters, for sure :)

I remember you!!  You were one of the first people I chatted with when I joined.  You made me pictures of some of my first horses on the game and we bonded over both being Washingtonians!  I think you are on the west side if I remember correctly!  I'm super glad you are back!

This is Mr. Doo. I've had him since he was a kitten, and he's half siamese and half tabby cat/american shorthair.

This is Noodle! My husband found him under a trash can outside his work when he was only 6 weeks old! So of course I brought him home and now he thinks he owns the place :P. He's seriously a stinker sometimes, but he is so cute, haha.

Welcome back! I work (currently) at a dressage training stable! We don't have Friesians or N.F.P. though. We have Hanoverians, Trakehners, Westphelians...warmbloods, lol.
