I don't get this at all

8 Posts 		I have put up a 12m upgrade for bid, it is only up to $3mill, yet there are 6ms up for bid getting at least $370mil???!!! Am I missing something?? Because this is completely backwards!!!!

If I don't get at least $600mil for my upgrade auction, I am NOT doing it, Fair Warning. Thank you.

4,333 Posts 		You'll get higher bids for it, don't worry. The high bids don't come right away. Although, 12 month upgrades don't generally go for exactly double the price of 6 month upgrades, they go for around 500 mill I think.

1,309 Posts 		Upgrades also go faster if you post in the advertising boards with what you're looking for. Auto-buys tend to get picked up faster then just bidding. :)

8 Posts 		Ah, ok, Thanks Samantha and Adranth for taking the time to address my concern, and in a wonderful manner, I do appreciate it, :-).As for the price, the doubled price of a 6m upgrade, according to what they are going for right now, is about $720mill, so I think $600mil is reasonable.Thank you again, :-)

5 Posts 		Emory, you would most probably make more money by selling two six months upgrades. I myself would be willing to buy both for 370 million right now.

1,309 Posts 		-grumbles- -goes to move money and bid on it anyway-But yeah, for whatever reason, 6 months do sell way better (for the seller) than 12 months.

38 Posts 		Gee thanks Adranth. =PI think it is because the 1 month accounts are a bit of a rip off and because it's strategically better to have 30 accounts upgraded for six months than 15 for one year.

1,853 Posts 		Also, with most auctions, you don't usually see serious bids until the last day or so. People like to sit and watch open auctions and jump in at the last minute.
