The Longines FEI World Cup is in Omaha this year! Which is amazing since it's not even usually in the United States, let alone in Omaha.

I'm super excited! I've got tickets for all 5 of the jumping sections and now it's only two weeks away, YAY :).

I'll take tons of pictures! And hopefully get some for our HP Image Bank.

Plus the training session is on my younger sister's birthday, so I'm going to get her out of school early and take her to that one as a surprise because she LOVES horses but has never had an oppourtunity to ride.

DID I MENTION HOW EXCITED I AM?!

Also, special shout-out to all of the people in BC who convinced me I definitely needed to get tickets because I seriously would have regretted it if I didn't :P.

It's been so exciting and fun so far!

I took my little sister to the training session for her birthday, so we got to see all the horses and riders come out.

Then my grandma went with me to the first round of the World Cup, which was the speed round. Where McLain Ward and HH Azur KILLED IT!

Last night Joel and I went to Session 3, and McLain dominated in the main course and the jump off! It was so intense and exciting!

Tonight is the Omaha International Grand Prix which happens every year, and it will feature regional riders (as well as a local rider, Karen Cudmore who is so good!) and those who will not be advancing to Sunday's finals in the World Cup.

And tomorrow is the final round of the World Cup! I will be excitedly rooting for McLain and Team USA! AND I'm going to do a takeover of HP's instagram, so make sure you follow us (or my personal account) to see all of the equestrian greatness! :).

Ahh! My friend Elizabeth is there and I want her to find you and give you a hug for me, but that would probably be weird.
