Finally uploaded all the pictures I took from the World Cup :). I'm so, so, so, so happy I got to go, and that my people in BC convinced me I needed to spring for good seats, because I would have been devistated if I hadn't! Haha.

We were right behind one of the TV cameras, so we got a good view of the entire arena, and we were in the front row of the mezzanine, so there was no one in front of my short self! Unfortunately, I didn't get any amazing motion pictures because even on burst mode, being zoomed in produced blurs. However, I did post a lot of videos on my Instagram account if you want to check those out!

Day 1 - Training Session

I took my little sister to this one for her 13th birthday! There wasn't an announcer or anything, it was just all of the competitors and their horses checking out the ring!

Day 2 - Speed Round

This was the first official round, and it was super exicitng! I took my grandma with me, who I think was skeptical, but she got SO into it. She was actually really good at predicting who was going to hit a rail and who would have a clean round. It was amazingly fun!

Winning scoreboard after watching McLain Ward and HH Azur KILL IT, and get a completely clean round! They were on fire. It was truly amazing to watch.

Day 3 - Jumping Final 1

This was one of the days I went with my husband! It was really fun, and really intense, and we got to watch McLain Ward and HH Azur kill it once again, with 2 completely clean rounds!

Plus there was a little people watching, because the camera guy pointed out that Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory was sitting in the VIP section!

I loved how so many of the jumps were recognizable and Omaha themed! That orange one on the far left was super intense and the blocks on top were super light and if any of the horses so much as tapped them, they came down.

There was a kid behind us was SUPER into it, and they were so scared about the line right in front, haha. It was very cute! Future equestrain in the making!

Day 4 - Omaha International Grand Prix

This was a day off for the horses advancing to the final round and featured regional riders and those who had been eliminated so far! It was a short night, but it was fun and featured Karen Cudmore who is living in Omaha and is (obviously) my favorite local rider, but who represented Canada, and Jennifer Gates (Bill Gates' daughter) rode!

Ward and HH Azur are like the Dujardin and Valegro of jumping from what I understand. They TOTALLY dominated my facebook for like two weeks!

Day 5 - Jumping Finals

SO EXCITING! The entire time I was just waiting for McLain Ward to come out. Oh my gosh, and he definitely delivered! Getting 2 more completely clean rounds, and just destroying everyone! He's seriously amazing! 0 penalties over all 3 days of the competiton! That horse is serious goals.

This is the day I shared live on the HP Instagram story! I do have the whole thing saved, but unfortunately it won't let me upload video :(. I have some great ones of jumpers, and also of McLain's victory lap!
