Entering Private Shows

Hi,

Just hoping to suggest for a method with which to enter private shows that involves fewer steps! I keep losing money because I don't get the notifications that my horses have been entered in time before they run. Sometimes they're accepted at 11:30 pm the night prior so...no chance! Most players are really good about refunding but not all. Any hope for an "auto-enter" once the host accepts them?

This has been asked before, but there have been a lot of negatives that could come from it, so i think its kind of a no go at the moment. let me see if I can find a recent thread!

What Tera said!  Also, if you are looking for shows that are accepted generally 24 hours before shows run let me know!  I could make some room for your pon pons!

Tera is great about accepting her shows on time too! ☺

also i refund people if I don't accept within 24 hours. Or at the very least, if they request late, I still want to give them at least 8-12 hours to enter.

i generally make my shows monday/tuesday to run for the following tuesday and then accept friday about 12-2 hp time

that way no one has an excuse really unless something super crazy crazy comes up irl

Thanks for the recommendations! :) The cost for me is deterrant enough, so with the extra loss of money it's more of a pain which is why I rarely enter them. I figured I wasn't the only player to find it annoying but after reading the thread of, "It would be too easy otherwise." it definitely won't be changing!

I have the same problems with different time zones and such...but since i buy whole shows i have them set to run fri through sunday so there is room for forget-full-ness! Since we all have real lives and they are priority!

I personally have lots of issues with entering private shows run by others becuase of the Australian time zone in comparision to the mass of american players. I personally dont enter Private shows that arent my own, I just seem to run into issues with them being accepted too close to the show running.

yeah timezones do suck, but there are players that accept 24 hours in advance, like tron and myself and a few others. just to hopefully help with the timezone difference. :)

Honestly, one of the reasons I quit the game =) Private shows cost a lot of money and a lot of time, and I had Zad's issue. I lost way too much due to the timezone problem. I was typically at work when the shows were accepted in a lot of cases, and I can't very well sacrifice work time to get on a game. That meant despite already paying a lot of money to the show runner and putting in a lot of time re. requests, I ended up losing money time valuable points.

I funded my (HPD) bank, through upgrades, so that kind of loss, while small to start with, eventually became just a bit too much to be acceptable. If some consideration was put in for international players, I'd be happy to come back and restart my beagle lines. I do miss this game.
