Flickr Photo Use Question

It's been so long since I've needed to find stock photos. Think 2004 or more. Lol. I just want to confirm that my thinking is right for Flickr photo use. I found a photo I would like to use via Wikipedia. It was linked back to a Flickr account. The photo on Flickr has only an "Attribution" icon. Based on what Flickr's own link says I can feel free " to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work to Remix — to adapt the work to make commercial use of the work Under the following conditions: Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work). " So would photo manipulation fall under the "to remix" part of this law? |

Yep. Us photo manipers want to see the attribution. Just make sure to credit the photographer from Flickr and your golden :) |

Cool. Thanks. Sometimes it's the wording that gets me. Lol A bird may love a fish, but where would they live? - Ever After |

Welcome :) The wording annoys me, but Chaotic made an easy to read guide here, to use deviantart and flickr:
