So this summer (in a couple weeks) my family and I will be going to Nashville for a week. My family has been there once before but I've never been. Any advice from frequent visitors or locals? We're all 21 or over so we do plan on doing some bar hopping and listening to the bands but what else is fun to do? Is there anything we should avoid?

Definitely put eating Nashville Hot Chicken at Hattie B's on your list! And you could also check out the Third Man Records store/studio! Other than that, I don't know, but I'm looking forward to hearing what you do!

I came here thinking we would be talking about the TV show Nashville.  :P  I've never been and the TV show is the extent of my knowledge.  I can't wait to see what adventures you guys have though!

Go to Memphis sometime, I'll give you stuff there too. I've been to a LOT of places here in the US so odds are I can tell ya some stuff to do xD

Other than the obvious country-western stuff to do, there's lots of other touristy things too, plus the Nashville zoo is really nice! We also toured some old mansions there - the Belmont Mansion and the Belle Meade Plantation - which was also a thoroughbred farm.
