I see lots of people have new puppies at the moment and I do too so I thought why not start a puppy school right here on HP!? We can share advice, ideas and progress and most importantly show off our pups! So come and join in! Introduce yourself and your pup, we can set goals together and support eachother =D

My Fiance and I own 6 dogs total at the moment. We each have a 4month old Border Collie pup from a litter we bred for agility, but here I will just focus on my little guy =P 

 This is Maverick aka Smith Creek Tech Geek (he spent his baby days sleeping on my laptop, phone, basically whatever thech he could find haha). The plan is one day he will be an agility dog. We need to work on "wait", recall and I have started teaching him to wrap around a cone. He hates travelling and will hide if there is any hint of going in the truck =( But he is gaining confidence out and about and I took him to dog training last night just for a look around and some socialising. 

I'm just here to "D'AWWWWWW!" at cute puppies.

Yeah I am also here to goo-goo-gaga over the cute puppes!

I don't have any puppies, so I'll just join the peanut gallery of onlookers! xD

Such a sweet face! I love BC's!

Here is my new puppy:

I rescued him this last Saturday from one of our local shelters after things didn't as planned with the GSD puppy I was getting. It just happened to be a stroke of luck! I was really broken hearted after I left puppyless, but I happened to be looking around at shelters and BAM, there he was.

He's only 7 weeks old right now, but turns 8 weeks on Wednesday. So far he's doing really well. Only wakes up at 1 am to go potty and then gets up when we do in the AM. He has been struggling with the kennel a bit, but I forced him to nap in his kennel (with the door open, when he was really sleepy) and he did well. All of his meals are given to him in his kennel as well, and I know it will just be time and repeated expsoure that helps him get over it all. But yeah, here he is! I'm excited to update you all while he grows!

This is me and my fiancé new puppy Lilly she is a silver lab and we just adore her she turned 13 weeks old on Sunday.

His name is Chewy! Chewbacca is his actual name, but we aren't calling him that, too many syllables lol. He turns 8 weeks old today which is crazy exciting because next week he'll get his second round of shots and then we can take him to puppy classes! He has actually been doing phenomenal in the crate as well! And last night he went to bed without a peep! He's also incredibly smart, so I'm going to start foundations for sit and down today.

can someone explain the crating thing for me? when i had dogs we never crated them, but that was literally like 18 years ago /- (oh god im so old!!!)
