Online Status

Maybe an icon? Saying "Online" because it gets tiring putting offline or online, and sometimes I forget. A green dot by the name would mean online. ("Online") Would appear next to the green dot. A red dot by the name would me offline. ('Offline") Would appear next to the red dot. Players could also make themselves invisible, just in case they don't really want to be seen on. Players wouldn't be able to see if he/she is online. Just a suggestion! |

I like this idea, it would make it easier for someone to find other players (or even mods) that are currently online. I also like the fact that you could make yourself invisible, in case you were just jumping on quick or didn't want to be bothered. |

i think that someone had already suggested this once and it wasn't approved because they didn't want players to go crazy because they knew a mod wasn't online. i do like the idea, but i can see where some people wouldn't   |

Reno I can see why it wasn't approved, but there would be always some kind of mod on, or there usually is. Right? |

I think that it should be a personal choice within our account settings to have that off or on :P I'd love to show ONLINE when I am ^_^ |

I think it would be a great idea to have status', about the moderators and things going crazy, there could be an option to put your status as invisible, so people can't tell whether you are online or not c: |

I had that for invisible because sometimes I wouldn't want to be bothered. So that's why I suggested an invisible option. |

If something like that were to ever get added, it's a long time down the road. We want to focus on adding in things that effect game play. :) We're aren't facebook, in the end, you know? |

HL put a status type thing in and everyone went nutso about how it's turning into facebook. Including a lot of HPers that popped on to check out how far downhill it'd gone :P |

BinSki literally said what I was going to say about the online/offline status :P.And as far as moods go - I can see where it would be a neat little thing, BUT we would have to have it programmed in, AND buy the art for the little icons and all of that costs money which right now is kind of limited with the updates we're doing on clubs and stuff. And in the end, we aren't a social networking site so I just don't see it as our #1 priority at the moment.But I'm not saying "no" to moods, I'm just saying "not right now". |

I think moods-the more I think about it- would sort of be kinda corny.If you think about it,it would make things seem less professional.Plus,lots of players put how they're feeling in their names when they feel it's needed. |

Like I said it was just a suggestion, I don't like having to go to the edit profile page and then going to my name and typing the whole "how I feel" in .-. I know this isn't a networking site, but sometimes it helps if a player knows how the other player is feeling, and if he/she wants to be contacted. |
