Friday as I was getting ready for work I fell and severely dislocated my knee. My knee cap was on the side of my leg. Nurses in the er said they have never seen it that bad before. Spend 3 hrs in the er. And I'm now in a knee stabilizer with crutches. My knee is the size of a softball.... so my question has anyone done anything like this? If so how long does it take to heal? And should I be worried about possibly tearing my acl? I go see a surgeon to make sure there isn't anything else wrong. Making sure there is nothing the X-ray couldn't find. *sigh* I just need to be but in a bubble.
