Joel and I are going on vacation two weeks from today and I feel like my brain has already slipped into vacation mode. Soo I'm just going to embrace it with this topic and talk about ALL THE FUN STUFF.

We are going to Ponce Inlet, Florida (near Daytona)! My great aunt has a rental condo on the beach so we will have a great view! And we're driving, because I don't fly, so we will be spending time in Nashville, Memphis, St. Louis, and Mobile on the way there/back.

Any recommendations for restaurants? Things to do?

Definitely going to Hattie B's in Nashville! Because I LOVE Nashville Hot Chicken, and they will do a gluten free version (because, yup, that's apparently my life/stomach now!) which I'm super excited about. And obviously all the barbecue in Memphis. But what are your favortie spots? We will also definitely be going to Universal and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and may do Disney, but we are going to play that by ear.

If you're in St. Louis for a little bit it's always fun to go to the Science Center or the St. Louis Zoo. Either one is typically a day trip type thing. We don't have any of the big chain restaurants here so if we go we normally stop at Olive Garden or the like. The Cheesecake Factory is supposed to be really good too, but I've never been myself.

When we were in Nashville this summer we ate at Mission BBQ by the Opry. They serve your meat dry and you can try like 6 different sauces on it. Depending on your taste in music, if you like country music I'd recommend the Country Music Hall of Fame as it was fascinating. I also really enjoyed the Johnny Cash museum. For something a little different, we went on the Redneck Bus Tour. It take like 2 hours and was a ton of fun. You can even drink on the bus haha.
