Each month we will pick a new rare-on-HP breed and give away a pointed pair of them in order to boost the number of breeders of that animal! We will rotate between horse breeds and dog breeds every other month!

about Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs

This dog breed is relatively new and was developed in 1955 in Czechoslovakia. They are a cross between German Shepherds and wolves from the Eurasian continent. They were bred with the purpose of being military attack dogs in mind, but have also been used for search and rescue and general disciplines as well. They tend to look more like wolves, and are known for their long-strided "canter" when in movement.

I've followed a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog owner and photographer on dA for several years and they post such beautiful photos of them. I don't really neeeeed another breed, but they're so gorgeous.

I first ran into the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog breed when I was looking for a wolf-like breed for a dog RPG years ago. I didn't want to play an outright wolf, but I wanted something close. I was so taken with how amazingly similar they are to wolves that I still peek in on pictures of them from time to time. They're a realatively new breed as well. I like them xD
