I am really bad about checking on the Chat when I have multiple tabs up. Maybe we could have like a little beep noise when a new message is posted? Kinda like ye olde Chatzy or AIM (just showed my age lord have mercy xP )

Maybe if not a noice, that specific tab could flash? Not even with every new message, just a new message starts the flash, and it just flashes until you open it again?

I think a noise / mute or flashing tab would be great ALTHOUGH I don't think the current chat system actually tracks when someone posts... It seems to just auto-refresh every few seconds, rather than updating when someone posts something. You see your own updates straight away because it refreshes on post... so IDK, the chat system may need to be updated to facilitate that kind of logic. Though I could be wrong...

But I like it!  I think it would be nice to have an option to perhaps turn it off or on?  Sometimes I leave chat up when I'm doing other things like school work but I wouldn't want to be distracted by a flashing tab

I like the noise or flashing idea but I agree that it shouldn't make a noise everytime chat refreshes every 10 seconds, only when someone posts. Not sure how this could be implemented...

Sorry loves, I just saw all of the comments about this. I made the original post without thinking through everyone and everyone's circumstances. 

I agree.. the beeping may be a bit much on the busy times. But I do like the idea of a flashing tab maybe? 
I just know that it is hard to keep up with chat when I have multiple tabs open. 
(Maybe this is just a spoiled girl, first world prob... maybe not even something that could be implemented right now) 
It's just a thought! 

I like to add my 2 cents and suggestions when I have the ideas that way maybe in the future they can be used! 
Basically, I just try to help generate ideas to help everyone out and keep the game going and all of that haha
