So on Friday morning i'm making a 10 hour round trip to go meet and hopefully bring home this little girl:



I've been wanting to get a girlfiend for Sam for a while but I was struggling to find any babies for sale. I really wanted to hand raise one after the nightmare I had with Bella, but i've also been keeping my eye out for any between 6 and 12 months that need a new home.

This girl's name is Evie and she's 8 months old! Her family have had her for approx 6 months and regrettably need to give her up as some awful circumstances have come about and they have to move to a place that doesn't allow animals. After chatting with them on the phone for quite a long time they're holding off on arranging meetings with other people because they think i'd be perfect for her. How sweet!

She is a cuddler and loves snuggling with people. She comes with a huge cage, I think it's slightly bigger than Sam's, and all of her own toys and things so that's good.

I'm excited!

Sam is unsure, mostly because she's so pushy and bossy lmao. She already kicked him out of his own cage while we were putting hers together :P

lol. I can only imagine what he's thinking. XD Hopefully they become best buddies.

She's just used to having a cage and adopted his as her own lmao. She'll be fine once she's settled into her own again!

Evie's cage looks bare LOL but there is actually a lot more in there than it looks! I gave her a couple of Sam's toys (after this photo) and i've still gotta find her some sticks (for perches) and I will re-arrange it again.

I had them both on my shoulders tonight. Not by choice :P

She's gorgeous! Her and Sam will (hopefully!) make beautiful babies someday!

I love how they are as far apart as they can be in the photo where they are both in their cage. But they are looking at each other like "Hmmm... who are youu?" They look pretty interested in the one where they are on your shoulders. I can't get over how cute they are. XD

They are both outside in their cages right now because it's a beautiful day. Someone is chattering away and I can't work out if it's evie or sam lol.

But they are both still very young. Sam is almost 14 months and Evie is 8 months, so with a lifespan of 30 plus, they are basically still kids. Right now they are like bickering siblings.

Oh I love her coloring! Especially the blue around the eye, super cool.

I am THRILLED that her eye ring has come out so soon. For some girls it can take up until their 2nd or 3rd molt but Evie's developed early and I LOVE IT
