They are an awesome breed! All the great qualities of a lab with the looks of a weim! They're super smart, ridiculously smart, and extremely loyal. 

So yeah, I've decided to start breeding these little guys! ^-^ 

Hoping to get some support? So that once Sam starts accepting breeds again, I can have this one added!

I guess as Insom said they COULD be a cash shop item, however, I'm not sure whether the breed backing would be there (like, for example, when the Fennec Fox was suggested there was a huge backing for the breed itself as it isn't a crossbreed).

Your poochie looks adorable (if it's the black pup I always see in Insta! (not that all of your pups aren't adorable!)) but it looks as though you've started a line of each and plan on crossbreeding them. I think this is a great idea for you! :)

So, it may just have to stay a cross breed that I do and I will just spread awareness of my cute little babies through word of mouth! haha

Serious question: Are these the same thing as Silver Labs?

From the research that I have done, no they are not the same. But I could be wrong! 

I saw a "Silver" lab puppy today at the dog park and the owners said she was indeed a purebred, and that when they did their research it's some sort of diluted gene with chocolate labs. 

Right! That is the information that I saw in my research!

It is a recessive gene from chocolate. Well that is one of the theories.

The issue with Silver Labs and other such "designer" breeds, is that some people think it's a separate breed, which it isn't. Like you said, Envi, it's just a recessive gene. However, less reputable breeders will continue to breed for that silver color without thinking of each dog's health or temperament. They just want more puppies to sell for more money.
