My my 2011 laptop finally is in the grave. Borrowing a friends until my new one comes in. YAY CREDIT CARDS! LOL!

Anyways Pretty sure the old one was a battery failure, so I am just debating of buying a replacement or just selling it as is. I can get it on to totally wipe it. But want opinions first. WOnt get much for it anyways and the battery is like 1/2 of what its really worth so either way ill only be up by a little bit. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't pay to replace the battery, because you won't get any more money for it with a battery (as in if you sell it for $500 with battery, and the battery costs $100, then you'll still get $400 for it without battery). If it were me, I'd just do your research on what a battery will cost, and specify in the ad what it will cost to replace, and take that amount out of the asking price.

Does it work while plugged in?

If so get an hdmi cable and hook it up to a computer.

The battery for mine is like 20$ on amazon luckily.

With that being said I still use my 07 laptop that’s been stolen and recovered hooked up with an hdmi cable
