Hello HP! So after being approached a few times with coding questions and inquiries about a coding course, I’ve decided to go ahead and open a one-on-one coding class for interested HPers! 

I have been learning how to code for 12 years, using various resources online as well as professionally-taught classes. Coding is my passion, and I like to think I am pretty knowledgeable on the subject. I enjoy sharing what I know, and helping others pick up a handy skill!

My coding class is a one-on-one setup that includes a mix of written lessons with demos, screen-sharing sessions, and a live testing HP account. The course is intended to teach coding for HP specifically, not for full webpage design. It has four sections: html basics, structure elements, combining elements to make layouts, and styling. You are welcome to pick and choose which sections you'd like to learn, depending on any previous knowledge of HTML/CSS you might already have.

The schedule for classes is semi-flexible. For the written lessons, I will send you a link to a code demo page which contains the lesson information and demos of what the lesson is teaching. For the screen-sharing sessions, I schedule one session per student per week, and I only do sessions one-on-one - so I can answer any and all questions that pop up. Because of this, I am only accepting a total of four students at one time (I may open up more spots in the future, depending on my schedule). For the screen-sharing sessions, I use rabb.it, which is like joinme but hopefully less intensive on your computer/wifi. It would be extremely helpful to make a rabb.it account so I can easily add you to the session.

My pricing is set based on the price for my coding and time. The price for a full code from me is 300mil HPD, and the majority of that price is based on the time it takes for me to code it. Therefore, the price of my coding class is also heavily based on my time.

I am pretty flexible when it comes to payments for any of my services, and the coding class is no exception. If you are unable to afford the price in HPD, I am also looking for graphics, upgrades, and training.

@Lluvia; I love love love to code! I don’t have experience with programming at the moment, but I’m actually in school for a cybersecurity degree, so hopefully that’ll change soon (and I can offer to help Sam out with HP lol)!
