What if instead of advertising to sell shows or spots,  when you create the show it gives you an option of how many spots you have open 1-10 all depends on the player creating the show and an entry fee of up to 400k per spot depending on species horse/dog . Anyone ever think of this ? I mean you can advertise buy instead of having to send money here and there the player gets tbe money after people enter the show and they accept .

This way it would just eliminate the step of sending money, correct? The player can still decide who to accept and it will still be private?

If I could still decide who got in i think i could get on board with this.

I'd hate for it to be automatic due to 1 - there are a few people on my block list I refuse to support in any way. Including show spots. 2 - there are a few people I train for I give spots to free of charge (this would mean I'd have to still send money back). 

Well of course lol . if you dont want them deny the request and someone else could request . but if they're blocked they shouldn't be able to see your stuff ? 

Sadly,  if you block someone it only stops communication. They can still see you, purchase stuff and request stuff. 

I think this would be a great thing, but there’s a couple issues. One is how to make the spots option only available to private shows and not public shows. Because if people were to start limiting the number of entrants in their public shows to ten, then we would have a serious shortage of available shows. Solution might be to create a separate page for creating private shows and public shows, but that’s pretty messy, navigation-wise. Like where would you put those links? Having two different Create Show links in the Shows header would be a bit much, I think. Another option would be to have the spots option appear only after selecting private show, but I’m not sure if that’s within our programmer’s capabilities? (I don’t think I’ve seen that mechanic anywhere on HP..) 

Also, some players sell entire private shows for three/four/five times your 400k for an individual spot, so even if they were to select only one spot, they would still have to have the player send over whatever they’re owed minus the 400k. You could get rid of the max spot price and just let players put in any amount? But I feel like there’s a specific reason for the entrance price limit, I just can’t think of why that is at the moment...

 In theory it sounds nice, but in reality I agree with Monnie that it sounds like it could be very messy. Sounds like a lot of ifs/ands/buts..
