I thought it would be fun for everyone to post any random facts they know (or something you Googled or whatever). It can be about anything as long as it's HP-appropriate. One player posts one fact. I'll start: The Icelandic word for computer is tölva. It was coined in the '60s and is a combination of the words tala (to count) and völva (prophetess). |

It is believed that the expression ''hit your funny bone'' is derived from the humerus bone, which sounds like humerous. There's a nerve that runs on the side of the elbow and when you hit it, it causes the tingling sensation. |

South Point Hawaii (also known as Ka Lae) is the somewhat out of the way but remarkable place that is famous for being the southernmost point in the United States (nope, it's not Key West).
