You've got Mail! So, I really think that the art of writing letters and pen pals has been lost. It was so huge back in the 90's and now it's all about the social media. I really want to bring back the joys of my childhood and start a pen pal program here on HP! We have such a diverse community here; I think it would be fun to spread some positivity, get to know each other, and learn about other people/places! Plus.. I really just like getting mail! I am currently having a layout worked up for the page. Just wanted to see who all would be interested?? |

I never did this as a kid, mostly because I had a feeling my mom would say no to talking with strangers, but also because I felt like I'd get bored of it... Maybe now it's time to give it a shot? |

Hey guys! I totally get the appeal of this - I love getting snail mail! Unfortunately, though, HP is a game with people under 18 on it, and I think encouraging the sharing of physical addresses poses a pretty big risk for them, so I'm going to have to shut this down. I know that HP seems like a safe place and that it has a mature community, but you should always remember that predators can lurk anywhere. Remember, you should NEVER post your address, phone number, or any other personal information publicly, and you should exercise caution even when sharing it privately.

Sorry to be a debbie downer! My first priority is always making sure the game is safe for everyone, and I'd hate to see anything bad happen. I am closing this topic to future replies! |
