Account locking?

So this is not the best idea ever, but I thought I suggest it anyways~ What if, like we were going on vacation for three weeks, but we didn't want our horses to age and not gain any points while we were gone. Well, we could invent this button that says "account locking" where you pay some money to, well, lock your account xD. Where your horses don't age, you won't loose any premiumship days, stuff like that, but you cannot access your account until you unlock the account. What do ya'll think? SUPPORT X A MILLION! I usually have to start my animals, get to play with them for a couple weeks and then sell them all off... only because of my life style of school/work/travel I am weeks not at the computer.. I envy all the players who can keep up with maintaining lines, but sadly, HP isn't designed for people who need to leave every once in a while.. I would commit myself more to the game with premiums and so forth if I knew I could actually keep up lines.. because I can't make myself always be at the computer for them, and finding trainers and account sitters is also too much work since I only know from one day to the next if I can't be on for a while! |

OH MY GOSH, YES. A MILLION TIMES YES. On two other horse sims I play, they have this, and it is SO HELPFUL. If I know I can't make it on, I lock my account so that my horses won't age and my upgrade (if any) won't go down. SUPER HELPFUL. YES YES YES.I play another sim and whenever I get bored I lock my animals. They don't age or gain anything. HOWEVER, I would not be upset if our premium days or whatever keep being counted, regardless if you log in or not. I think if a button was added to the pages of the animals (or have a master lock/unlock all) would be extremely beneficial. so that way we can still sign in, chat, sell graphics and our horses would stay the same. maybe make a rule where you can't lock an animal more than once a day to stop people from abusing the system? |

This would be pretty helpful to me, especially when work gets really crazy and I need a week or so to focus on that, it'd be great to be able to lock my account and not have to stress about my animals or have to rely on other people to do all of my HP stuff for me. I've had to rely on Adranth for a while now and while she's fantastic, I feel bad DX |

YES YES YES. PLEASE!! Every time I go to visit my dad, I am pretty much without internet, unless I can sneak off to starbucks for a couple hours, as he is apparently from the stone age and doesnt have wireless internet :P It would also be really helpful during final exams season! |

great idea, but maybe have a limit to this ? always a possibility of someone abusing it and continuously "locking" their acct. |

We have something like this for animals on HP2. I wouldn't be willing to do it to all aspects of an account, but in future updates we could do this for animals, maybe. We could make it cost money so that it wouldn't be abused. |

It would so mess up ages of animals. Like, the parents could be younger than the children D: Neat concept though :) Or maybe you could make it to where the shows could accumulate?   |

The issue with accumulating shows would be if it got near the animal's retirement a person might not be able to use them all because of the 20 shows per day limit (which is in place to help regulate flooding).It's true that then ages would be screwed up, but other than for breeding/training and neatness purposes, the age of an animal doesn't really matter. You know? No serious part of the game would need tweaking if this were to happen. |

LOve this idea to. I work up north, and so away from my computer for a weeek at a time. I was lucky enough taht i bought a laptop so i dont have to miss a day. Put before my laptop i missed almost 2 week of traning.Totally support this idea. But agreed a system would need to be in place so no one can abuse it. Or have it so you can only lock your account once every (blank) amount of days. |
