Mod Apps Are Open!

Moderator applications are officially open!We will be accepting applications until Friday, November 24th, 11:59 HP time.
Mods enforce the rules of the game, to make sure that everyone in the community is playing fairly, but are also community leaders. Players come to mods when they need help with all sorts of things, and often mods are the first face a newbie sees when they join! HP's mod team is a tight-knit group, and most of the team is friends outside of HP, which means that we are able to work as a cohesive unit when it comes to all sorts of issues, or running events for the game!
Requirements
Part of being a moderator is being a community leader, and staying active on the game, so for that reason we have minimum activity thresholds set in order to be considered active enough to remain on the mod squad once you've been accepted. They are (all numbers per MONTH):
These aren't intended to be like a monthly quota, but instead they are the average numbers of what active players and mods of the game regularly get. There are exemptions and lots of options for alternatives (as well as a rewards system for reaching stats), because we know you're busy, and we know not everyone plays the same! But we're putting these numbers out there, so that all potential applicants know what they're getting into.
Note: We do a lot of our mod communication over Facebook messenger. Regularly using messenger, or using it at all, is not a requirement to mod, but it helps a lot.
Application
APPLICATION FORM: Real Name, HP Name, HP ID Number: Where are you from? Timezone: Are you at least 18 AND the age of majority in your place of residence? How old are you? Will you be willing to sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement?
HP QUESTIONS: How long have you been actively playing HP? Why do you think you would be a good mod? Do you have any previous modding or management experience? How often are you on HP and for how long are you on at one time? Would you say that you are active in the HP community? Please elaborate! Briefly describe your personality. In your opinion, what does being a mod mean? How do you normally handle frustration? Are you comfortable using Facebook messenger for mod-related communications?
SCENARIOS: In a situation where there is a player behavior emergency and you're the only mod online, what would you do? If a player is constantly disrespectful to you, and you cannot get through to them, how would you handle it? If you find out that a player is breaking a rule, but you can't "prove it", what do you do? If you warn a player, and they are very angry about the warning and not responsive about fixing the issue, how would you handle it?

i think for those that dont think they would be/on the fence, should just go for it! you all have really great qualities that make you your own!and wh o nows maybe you have the one thing that we all think were missing as a team =D

I felt the same way! I had the app all typed up and I waited, maybe 3-5 days before actually sending it in. I kept going back and forth on it lol  |

Is there a certain time committment that you are required to serve as a mod for? Say something came up and you couldn't fulfill your mod duties, are you signing up for a certain amount of time frame to be a mod?  |

You are not under a time-contract, eing a mod is an at-will position, if something comes up we understand, but I believe I speak for myself amongst the others on the team that we would really like you in for the long haul!
